HOW TO OPERATE & NAVIGATE WEB PAGES -
LOGGING IN -
As a resident, you may set up a log in account, to take full advantage of the site and view all pages. You will receive an email with a temporary log in, allowing setting up a permanent password. Please, allow some time for our Administrator to verify that you are a resident and respond. You may add a picture with your account. Note that although the instructions indicate you can load a picture with dimensions greater than 1024 pixels x 1024 pixels, it does not appear to be the case. So, try to limit the widest dimension (usually width) to 1024. If you have difficulty in doing this, email the picture to John Harrison at email@example.com and he will assist you.
POSTING MESSAGES -
For a resident to add messages on the Home Page, which is where upcoming events, meetings, etc. should go, click on "Add content" on the left side. You can add messages & pictures here, relative to things effecting the entire development (ie., Christmas post) by clicking on "Add content" on the left. For more personal items,(ie. garage sales, selling cars, houses, etc.) you can set up your own blog. You may add a picture or image to your post by going to the bottom of the page and clicking and going to where the image is stored, on your computer, and uploading it. A resident can also add comments to existing postings. The Halloween Bonfire and Christmas notice are examples of postings. The text will be shortened to save room and you can view the entire text by clicking on "read more" and the image will be smaller. You can click on the image to magnify it.
USING THE BLOG -
The Blog is also a message board where more discussion can occur on an issue, which does not pertain to the entire association. You can post more personal items,(ie. garage sales, selling cars, houses, etc.) on your own blog.
